Camino de Sant… (not verified)

We stayed here on 30 December 2022 and Fernarda opened her home when she technically wasn't open. Inviting us to be with her family too.

1km further is Lagar de Valinhas, which I also recommend.

This is an albergue that should be the standard for others to follow.
The warm welcome is genuine and needs to be experienced.
The husband and wife double act provide you with everything you could possibly need.
The communal evening meal is worth the stay itself.
I cannot speak highly enough of this place.

Truly an amazing and warm stay. True Camino spirit and community. I can’t say enough about Fernada. This couple give from there hearts.

What a magical place- Fernanda and Jocinto run a fabulous place. Blessed are those who get to share this magic.

Incredible peaceful spot for lunch next to the river, 100m off the trail just past town. Pilgrims menu, friendly people, beautiful, great wine and food. Wanted to stay all day.

Highly recommended. Fernanda is a great host, very generous with food, drinks, advice and good humour. The garden/patio offers a relaxing and convivial space while enjoying a rest or an aperitif. Fernanda’s welcome as well as the supper she served were one of the best experiences on our Camino.

Great place O Lagar, 100 m off the camino and about 1 km from Casa Fernanda. Perfect place to rest, drink coffee or eat as they offer Pilgrim’s menu.

Casa Feranda is the best hostel ever. The owner, Fernanda, is really nice, cozy and friendly. There is a little garden where you can rest and enjoy nature. She offers you aperitif and a good dinner shared with the other pelgrims. I really suggest this place!
