The albergue is adjacent to the church in the upper half of town, and it is run by the same wonderful people that maintain the church. The placement of this albergue could not be better.
These distances are exact, but are based on a straight line from point to point. Actual walking distances will be slightly longer.
Wonderful! Very clean and the guys who run the albergue are lovely and offered me ice tea and a rest before checking in. We made dinner together and it was great. The nuns are super sweet and we had a lovely time in the church together with songs and sharing time.
No luxuries here, unless sleeping on a non-bunk counts as one. But clean, modern, nice bathrooms, fantastic volunteer-hosts, and fantastic community of nuns; very worldly and educated nuns. A great community dinner
