One of the best places to stay on the Camino. The hosts are extremely friendly and most helpful. They make you feel at home. They also prepared a delicious meal. Very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend if you get the chance to stay here.

An American couple from California purchased this Albergue and have been working hard to get the Albergue up to date and ready to operate. The goal is to open the first week of September 2021.

The single bed price is 13€

Gordon is sick so not able to open. Don't know if it is for season or short while.

Gordon Bell is the reason to stay at Casa Banderas. He is a lovely expat South African. The welcome is warm, the location is right on the Camino 2 KM before Portomarin, and it is small and an intimate place to stay at good prices. The negatives are it is next to a dairy farm which can be noisy at night and smell.
