This has been my favourite place to stay on the Camino so far (coming from St Jean). The hospitaleros made us feel like we were at home, chatting with us and showing us around the beautiful veggie garden, whose vegetables you can use “donativo”. Cooked a delicious meal with these veggies in their spacious and well-provisioned kitchen. Bunk beds are standard but modern and clean, and the bathrooms are spacious and modern. I loved all the personal touches that the owners put into it - they even brought everyone’s boots inside overnight and laid them out for the morning to prevent them from getting damp! Such a wonderful experience overall!

What a serene and restul albergue in an equally serene little town. A large property on the riverbank, but ser back by a broad, sunny lawn. A little, cold stream diverted from the river runs right behind the reception/kitchen building - Maria invited - encouraged! - me to cool my sore feet. The rooms are clean and semi-divided into areas of 8 bunks. My night there it was almost empty and very quiet. The toilets and showers are out the dorm and down a short, common hall right by the exit door - a little awkward but not bad, since the exit is on the private, river-facing side of the building. Maria and her husband are super warm and friendly - they gave my friend and I a solid dinner recommendation. There is even a really friendly dog who loves to play fetch . Great stay! -A

This Albergue needs to be on your list. It’s such a hidden gem that I think gets overlooked a lot. You wouldn’t regret staying here. Only down side is the motion lights to the bathrooms otherwise what a treat!

This is my 2nd Camino staying here with Maria, this Albergue will always be my stopping point before the climb. One of the greatest Albergues on the Camino Frances.

The host is so friendly and it relaxes everyone staying here and it’s easy to get around and chat to all of the people staying that night. Spotlessly clean comfortable mattresses and a proper shower like you have at home! Kitchen has everything you need. A real treat after a couple rougher nights

Great albergue and deserves a review! The hospitalera, Maria, is super friendly and down-to-earth and helpful! When my friend's bag didn't show up, she called and figured it out all out for us. The facilities are fairly new and modern and very clean. There's a locker and a plug for every bed. Beautiful big yard & hammock to use. Great kitchen, fully stocked with cookware. As well, Maria grows a vegetable garden and you can choose some of her fresh vegetables to cook with and pay for it (at a fraction of what it would cost in the store). Great place! Loved it.
