Camino de Sant… (not verified)

I came here because it says it had wifi, it does but not in the Albergue room. It is about 500 meters away from the Camino, not really a good choice in Salceda.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

The bedroom walls in the hotel are too thin, so I was kept awake and woke up by neighbours speaking at normal volume. The hotel clearly knows this since there is a request to keep the noise down from 23.00.
Food quality was very good.

The albergue is ok , but the staff are a little grumpy and the vibe is not that good . When I got there I asked the lady if she had a bottom bunk and she said ‘no , if you don’t like it go somewhere else-I said sorry I’m really tired , she said so am I . In the morning the cafe opened at 7.30 am and the chef guy served two people before I entered then wouldn’t give me a coffee because he said he had to do other things and faffed around for ages . He was kinda rude too in his manner and attitude . The evening meal though , I must say is excellent -14 euro and high quality pilgrim meal .

A friend and I stayed in the albergue. We enjoyed the experience and great to have a few beds only. The food was outstanding so I am really surprised at some of the negative experiences. I have recommended it to several people

The albergue was very musty and not that clean. They have a hotel as well and this was definitely their focus. They separated us for dinner unless we were in the tour group. Odd way to end the Camino. Not recommended.

Clean albergue space, spacious bathrooms, nice blankets. One of the best dinners we've had on the Camino and great value for money breakfast with fruit, yoghurt and home-made jam.

Bit underwhelmed after reading such positive reviews. Found the woman quite abrupt and not really wanting to provide service. There’s a small cold shallow pool that you can put feet in. Dogs bark through night but it’s not their dogs. Meal was really good and huge portions. Had a twin room with window as most only have a skylight.

Brilluant - what a gem. The food is outstanding and superb albergue facilities. Highly recommended

We stayed in a twin room, it was beautiful, great sized bathroom and shower. Rustic feel, beautiful! The pilgrims menu was huge and very very good, first time I’ve seen mashed potatoes on the Camino!

Nice newer place with good restaurant. Good friendly people running it. A little bit like a resort, but in a very relaxed way. We stayed in a nice double attached to the albergue building. No wifi just for that room. All of the rest of the place has good wifi.
