A hidden gem! You will totally enjoy this beautifully-restored albergue run by volunteers who want to make pilgrims happy. Vegan meal was off the chain; beds were comfortable and provided a restful night. The only drawback is limited bathroom space, but we had a full house and made it work. I left my Kindle and was contacted the next day with arrangements to have it taxied to the next town. A true Camino treasure!

Camino de Sant…

The best meal and best sleep of the Camino in Albergue Serbal y Luna in Pieros. Mar and her team epitomize the spirit and philosophy of the Camino. From the moment I got in touch I felt cared for and welcome. Mar is an amazing chef and prepared the most incredible Veggie meal for me. It was worth the extra 2km walk from Cacabelos.

Camino de Sant…

One of the best albergues on the camino. Amazing host and great food. Clean and absolutely lovely.

Camino de Sant…

If this stop works for you don't miss it. Jane was an excellent help when I arrived and went out of her way. I'm not a vegetarian but the meal was superb. I had the best sleep here that I had had since I started the Camino 27 days ago. Excellent stop.

Camino de Sant…

The bunks are solid and the stone walls beautiful. Dinner is cooking and smells delicious! This is a great place! Very helpful hosts!

Camino de Sant…

This place has the true sense of the Camino. If you are already in Cacabelos, do yourself a favor and walk the extra 2 kms to come here.

Camino de Sant…

What a wonderful place this is! As another review says, well worth a little extra walking. Tucked on a side street down a hill, it feels like another world. The place has a bit of a rustic, almost hippy feel, while being completely clean and functional. The owners and volunteers were full of smiles, pleasant conversation, help and suggestions. The communal dinner was wonderful - cooked from veggies grown right in their own garden I believe!

Camino de Sant…

Only stopped in for breakfast but I wish we had stayed here. The hospitalero is excellent and this place is so beautiful. Meditation room and excellent vegetarian food. If you can’t stay, stop for breakfast. It’s donativo and so good

Camino de Sant…

I loved to stay here, good energy, nice room with high ceiling, hippie style, clean, a room upstairs were you can meditate or do your yoga or just relax. Also a small garden in front of the house. Nice vegetarian dinner and the people that worked there were so friendly. Great place.

Camino de Sant…

Stayed there the 18-7-2019.
It’s a beautiful place and friendly hospitaleros.
But I bought a menu for 10 € vegetarian.
They started serving me heated peppers from a jar with a hard boiled egg. For main course they served couscous with 4 different cooked vegetables, and for desert a cup with 6 small pieces of fruit.
There were not enough food so I had to go to bed hungry and they don’t consider pilgrims needs protein so they can walk and have energy for the next day.
When I arrived the hospitaleros ate lunch and that looked good.
such a shame because this place could be good if they were there for the pilgrims and gave them a decent dinner for the money or let people cook for themselves.
