Extremely busy but the staff does their best and were very nice. They do close the restaurant in the afternoon for a few hours to 4-7 PM. Albergue was very clean and decorated the views are spectacular. This is one of those special places to stay along the way!

I stayed here in October, 2018, and I can recommend it enthusiastically. The building is beautifully refurbished and spotlessly clean. My dorm room slept 10 (5 bunk beds), plenty of room for all our stuff, with a large picture window overlooking the peaceful farmland. No problems whatsoever with the bathrooms and absolutely no smells. The negative review above is from several years ago and no longer relevant. Don't hesitate to stay here. I chose it from a list of "favorite albergues along the Camino Francès" which is compiled of albergues receiving favorable comments and recommendations on the Camino Forum.

I would not recommend this place! The restaurant has a nice ambience and view, few choices if you don't eat meat. The albergue rooms are firstly crowded with bunks for 4-10 varying in the room. But the bathroom smells disgusting and 3 of the bunk rooms are right next to it. They have some kind of sump pump or something for their water and I think that's what smelled. It was not a place I was happy to be in. The next town has a great albergue that friends recommended by reserve it or get their early!
