Not located in Mercado da Serra, but rather a few km beyond (at km 104.5) in a remote location along the camino. Part of a restored water mill and very tranquil. Highly recommended by other pilgrims.

Beautiful, tranquil setting, complete with dragonflies & noisily-copulating frogs who don't seem to mind you sitting next to them! Home cooked pilgrims' menu *with veggie option that isn't salad/tortilla!!'* Gorgeous place, modern (non-squeaky) bunks, two bathrooms with big showers (and locks on the doors & plenty of room to put your clothes). Beer & soft drinks available (there's no other local infrastructure/no shops). Good wifi. Kind, friendly & helpful host. Wonderful!

A very nice and tranquil place. Just the perfect place to be! A lovely communal dinner as well. Certainly one of the best albergues on the Camino.

Lovely albergue @ milepost 106.5 west of Sarria. Tranquil setting and 16 beds. Dinner, get breakfast at the next village.
