Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Accommodation and meal were very basic. Not bad, just very middle of the road. If you're interested in doing more in town, I would probably recommend something more centrally located. Logrono itself was celebrating a holiday the night we stayed there and there were young people still partying on the streets as we walked out of town the next morning.

The staff is friendly. Breakfast is €3 and you can check in at almost any time. Water is hot but the toilets do smell a little. There is a small porch in the back where you can hang out and the beds are comfortable. They have a washer and dryer with no limits on when you can use them. Nice hangout area in the front. They will make you dinner and breakfast. Overall good clean place. Toilets could smell better.

Private room for 2 with bunk beds for 40E, includes private bath. Pilgrim menu for 10.5E. Plenty of hot water for showers! Can rent sheets for 3E. There is a small street just off the close cathedral full of restaurants. Great place to explore if you have energy.

Basic but nice Albergue. Slept well. Can check in at any time. I stayed an extra night and didn’t have to check out and check back in. No kitchen but fridge has a freezer if you need to ice any injuries. Owner was really nice. bathrooms do smell a little. Big space out the back for washing and drying clothes.

The shared, co-Ed bathroom for 12 persons had a lock that doesn’t work, & there was no breakfast offered. We paid €1 for paper sheet & pillow case. There is an area to hand wash & hang clothes.

This is an interesting place. The staff was fine, very friendly and helpful. Perhaps because we are in the middle of COVID, they did not charge for the pillow case and liner. The best thing about this albergue is its location, not far from the cathedral where all the action is happening. The second floor is kind of odd because the walls are only 8 ft tall, but the arched ceiling extends well above that, creating an interesting acoustic effect where you can be talking on the west side in a normal voice, and people can hear you on the east side as if you're standing right next to them. I got to listen to drama unfolding between two pilgrims, a conversation I'm sure they did not want to share but that could not be ignored because of those crazy acoustics. Just a warning: mind your words because everyone is listening.

The hostel staff were friendly and professional but this Albergue is not set up for pilgrims. There were many migrant workers living here and there was black mild on the ceiling of the bathroom. In the morning the workers left very early slamming the door. The bathroom smelled septic.the atmosphere was cold and our room was concrete. Not a pleasant stay.

Agree with other post about all the migrant workers who clearly live in this hostel.
In addition to no sense of common purpose , as a woman it was very off putting to have almost no other women in the hostel.
