I went here for evening meal because I felt there were too many people at the other albergue. I felt very well greeted by the man in the bar. Would come here again.

This is by far the worst and scariest place I’ve ever stayed. The guy who checked us in was rude from the minute we showed up. He wouldn’t answer any of our questions and yelled at anyone who talked to him. We ate the pilgrims meal here because there are no restaurants in town. He served us bread soup with pieces of fat floating in it, salad and a carton of yogurt. But here is the worst part. In the morning, when we were trying to leave, we found he had locked the door and the gate and we couldn’t get out. When he came out to open it, he screamed at us in rapid Spanish. He wouldn’t let us get our boots and tried to shove us out the gate. My husband pushed the gate back in to get our stuff and I thought the guy was going to shove my husband. We finally got our stuff, sat on the curb to finish getting ready. While we were there, we heard him repeat the whole thing with another pilgrim. This pilgrim spoke Spanish and he told us that the guy accused all of us of treating him like a slave.
The beds were metal and loud. The food was terrible. There is absolutely no reason to stay here. I would rather sleep on the side of the road than ever step back in this place.

I came here with my walking partner and we were treated wonderfully. The owner had an ice pack for my knee and my
partner and I enjoyed a beer in the bar later in the evening after a very hot, wonderful shower. Very clean and quiet.

Not sure what makes this a bad place. Other albergues were full, so we booked here. Maybe not warm and fuzzy, but the place is very clean, he carried our bags up, and was helpful in every way. Good beds and showers, and generally a good stop on the Camino!

Strongly suggest to stay away. Not s nice place, and quite overpriced as well. My worst experience on the Camino

This guy is the worst aspect of the Camino and proof that the downfall of the Camino will come at greed and personal gain. This man is a total jerk and a rip off. I witnessed him treat someone asking for coffee like crap. Then he pushed me around and tried to get me to pay for extremely over priced coca-cola and croissants. The spirit of the Camino doesn’t exist here.

This is the cleanest Albergue I ever stay at. The man is so helpful. Believe or not I can’t find a single hair that drop on the bedroom floor. I’m glad I didn’t go to Frómista.

Stopped by this morning for lunch. The little man running the place is a real piece of work. Removed my wife's backpack from a plastic chair outside and knocked her food off the table. Rude bastard. I'd sleep in a ditch before staying at this place.
