Camino de Sant…

The Owners confirmed our reservation via email 3 days ago, confirming a private room wit baño o for 2 people. Arrived yesterday at 3:00, after a long days walk, to find they had given our room to someone else. They tried to say the “booking company” made an error with our booking. I showed them the email they had sent me directly, at which point they became very unhelpful. Very disappointing to say the least and we would not recommend this accommodation.

.We walked down the street to the other albergue / pension, (Casa O Rueiro), and found a private room with great hosts.

One of the cutest albergues I’ve stayed at on the Camino. It has a beautiful garden area to sit out in the sun and enjoy a drink. The hostel inside is so darling. The two women who run it are very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this place!

This is absolutely the cutest place on the Camino. The hosts are lovely, welcoming you with a tea. The garden is spacious and for the pilgrims menu you get to eat all the veggies that are growing there. I would definitely come back to this little piece of heaven.

Big, beautiful garden and wonderful hostess.

We booked the private room and it was do beautiful. The whole place is so lovely, amazing fireplace lounge area. Lovely meal. Vici was so sweet and funny but has no English. We got along well though with gestures and our few words of Spanish. Bed was super comfy fantastic shower. Garden and terrace to sit out. There's also a bar down the road where you can get proper coffee cooked breakfasts. Lovely stop. Would highly recommend this casa.

October 2021, €12: If you’re looking for a beautiful, traditional, secluded Albergue, this is for you.
Tucked away on the edge of a sleepy village, an old stone farmhouse, it felt like arriving into a home.
Paper sheets and blankets available. Good private shower rooms.
The highlights were sitting in the lovely garden armchairs in the evening sun with a glass of wine whilst the lovely Spanish lady cooked in the kitchen, and the beautiful dining/sitting room with the massive open stone fireplace. Pilgrim menu was €9 for 3 courses, but I just had the meat course with pudding which was €5.
I walked to here from Santiago and was really happy to get beyond Negreira for the peace and beauty of this place. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay! The food was fantastic and the host was so welcoming. The house is beautiful and the gardens as well, really enjoyed it!
