Albergue Villa de Luarca

To me a really nice albergue, right on the camino with 22 bed. All very clean, 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet. All services closeby, best option in town. The municipal albergue in La Almuña is about 2 km from the camino.

Albergue opens at 12pm, so you can check in early and see the cute town.
Meals are expensive in Luarca : €18 for a menu meal.

Beautiful town, nice albergue and I had a positive experience with the host. Do your own laundry if you don’t want to pay! If the weather is nice it’s a must to stay in this town.

We came here for a good bed with a group of 4. Beds are clean, and facilities are okay. Service is terrible, really commercial & most unfriendly host we’ve had so far on the Camino. He actually weighed our laundry with a scale and we were just over 2kg, so we had to pay extra. No English speaker. Highly doubtful way of taking a reservation: send a picture of your credit card through WhatsApp.

nice clean place with a good clean showers in the center of the town, 12 euros per person is worth it!

This place is completely business oriented and only looks at people as money. Do not call. To reserve a bed you need to email hotelluarca@yahoo.es and send them your credit card information. The albergue charges you in advance and must send you a confirmation email to complete the reservation. The hotel across the street runs the albergue. The service and treatment from the hospitalero was cold and unprovoked rude towards pilgrims.

12€/person now and 6€ to use the washer & dryer (up to 4 kg). Each bed has its own or is near an outlet and comes with bed & pillow liner.

Laundry service is €2/kg now.
