These distances are exact, but are based on a straight line from point to point. Actual walking distances will be slightly longer.
Still open during covid at reduced capacity. No fridge or cooking facilities, it’s a short walk downhill into Getaria. Fine place to stay. August 2021
It’s up to 20€ now. At that price I’m not sure it’s worth it. It was so hot I couldn’t sleep. And that was with only 3 pilgrims total. I can’t imagine a full room and then sharing limited bathrooms and showers.
The place is very comfy and clean. There is a bar inside where you Can have drinks and pizza but i didn’t try it. Be aware they open from 15hr so you plan your way up because the albergue is up in a hill. Have in mind that everything in Getaria is closed on Saturday afternoon and Sunday, so be prepared if your staying on weekends.
Not many people today, the City is near, so you can Buy Food in the supermarket:) Shower is good:) the common sheets are not really clean, but we didn‘t pay 4€. It‘s okay for one Night, you can wash your clothes in the sink and use the clothes line! Very good Self-washing place
The woman who runs this albergue charges €15 for this place. It comes w no sheets, no soap in the bathroom, just a microwave as the “kitchen” and she doesn’t even let you use the fridge or freezer or anything in the “restaurant” kitchen. I would rather pay a bit more to stay somewhere nicer with better service. I do not recommend
Open from April 1st
Sheets 4€, breakfast 4€. Very relaxing place to wind down after a long day.
There actually are 3 showers. Two of them are only used when the albergue is full. The facilities are modern and the shower was great! The Albergue is up a lot of stairs but we’ve still went back down to have dinner.
Friendly and attentive staff. Limited English. Only six of us here now. If it was completely full the one shower and two toilets would definitely be an issue. Bar serves only pizza and lasagna for dinner but has local wine and bottled beer. Recommend.
