Nel 2020, l'Ayuntamiento spera di trovare un nuovo concessionario, perché il servizio è stato scarso. La notifica preventiva è essenziale.

Il comune di Priaranza del Bierzo (che comprende la frazione di Villavieja) ha ripreso la gestione dell'albergue. Il prezzo è di 10€ a notte e i soldi vanno lasciati sopra la scrivania dove c'è il sello per la credenziale. Contatta l'ayuntamiento (municipio) due giorni prima del tuo soggiorno. Chiama il numero 987-42-08-06. Dal lunedì al venerdì, dalle 9.00 alle 14.00. Puoi anche scrivere all'indirizzo e-mail aytopriaranza@ccbierzo.com per avere informazioni, ma per le prenotazioni effettive è necessario chiamare.

This Albergue is one of the nicest places we have stayed in. Everything is beautifully renovated. Everything works perfectly even with nobody there - as long as you call before 2pm from Monday to Friday since the person who can give you the access code is not in the office past that time. Communication with the office worked really well and we only called a few hours before arriving.

You need to plan ahead a little since there is no place to shop either here nor at the village at the bottom of the hill. It is a bit of a steep climb and there is no cell service in the whole area. I recommend to properly locate where the Albergue is as it might be difficult to find without functioning GPS (if you realize the signage stopped and open Google maps to find it doesn’t load and you can’t call your friend who is already there - not good) We fully recommend to stay here. It is absolutely worth the extra kilometers. We also recommend if you get here on Friday/Saturday/Sunday to stop by La estrategia del Caracol in Santalla del Bierzo for a good meal between 1-5pm and then make your way to the Albergue. This way you only might have to carry a snack/drink/breakfast.

When I was standing at the closed door I couldn't call the telephone nummer, which was on the door, because that place hasn't phone coverage. Or the whole village for that matter. Next houses closed and or empty.
And when I got a little bit service they didn't answer the phone.

Worth the climb to get up here. Very clean, looks almost new. Full kitchen with all you need. Fridge, washing machine, dryer. Sheets, towels, wifi... A lovely place. I want to live here!!

The municipality of Priaranza del Bierzo (which includes the hamlet of Villavieja) has taken back the management of the albergue.
It’s 10€ a night and you leave your money on top of the desk where the sello is for the credential.
Please get in touch with the ayuntamiento (town hall) two days before your stay. Call 987-42-08-06. M-F, 9 am - 2 pm. You can also write to the email address for information, aytopriaranza@ccbierzo.com, but calling is requested for actual reservations.
