Really nice facility. I paid 12€ and was put in a 4 female room with our own bathroom. Lots of sitting areas and good wifi. Not super central but only a quarter mile from the cathedral so it’s no problem to get to the sights. There’s a grocery store nearby.

Generally the hostel is ok though I found it a little expensive for what it is 12€. The window had bars so we couldn't really open it. The guy at the reception was quite stressed, rude and on purpose doesn't tell guests about the free laundry service.

Smoothly run, but the atmosphere is sterile and the facilities are meager. The bedroom windows have an odd double-paned construction that prevents opening very far...at night the room was stifling. There is one bathroom per bedroom (varying number of beds, the room I was in had 12) and it unfortunately has one sink, one toilet, and one shower altogether so that if someone is using anyone of these things, everyone must wait until they are done to use any part of the bathroom. There is a nice cafeteria but pilgrims are shunted away from it to a windowless basement that contains a few pans, a handful of dishes, and a small fridge (nice to have, even if small). I was told about a religious service but it was unclear to me where this would be held. For the whole complex there appeared to be about six lockers: these were all on the ground floor right by the exit. Signs talk about security cameras but at night a friend and I were cooking in the basement and a stranger wandered in to ask us if we were the management...no one was at the front desk!

There are 16 beds to a room. WiFi was just ok. I heard they wash your clothes for free but can’t vouch for that. Breakfast is basic. They have a pilgrim’s blessing every evening. Spoke with one brother of the order and he was nice. They have a space to store bikes and luggage if you want to explore the town. I would recommend this over the Benedictinas.

Good location, had a twin room, clean they do your washing for you and dry it if you hand it in around 4. Staff helpful
