The camino through Zabaldika brings you to the road, where most pilgrims quickly turn left and continue on their way. The lucky few realize that the actual town of Zabaldika is directly across the road and offers a excellent example of 13th. c Romanesque architecture in the form of the Church of San Esteban and Stephen. Not to be missed by those wanting a more cultural place to rest their feet than the roadside offers.
