Restaurant and WIFI from adjacent hotel of same name are available for pilgrim use. To get there, follow the camino as it climbs out of Villafranca. The albergue also has a small shop. Dormitory prices vary by size of room and upper vs. lower bunk.
These distances are exact, but are based on a straight line from point to point. Actual walking distances will be slightly longer.
This albergue is awesome. And they have the best bar of any on the Camino Frances.
I had my bags sent to Albergue San Antonio Abad then spent 2 1/2 hours chasing them. They were not on cafeteria but behind a pillar in Hotel Reception - she thought it was funny. I don’t think the hotel/Albergue likes or encourages bag forwarding so maybe skip this one?
Enjoyed this place, choice of single bed or bed beds,2€ more for single bed. Great food.
Great albergue. Stayed in room with single beds and no bunks. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of line space for drying washing. No washing machines, dryers or kitchen. Good dinner at adjoining restaurant.
Treated ourselves to a private room with own bathroom (+shower spa)! 45 euro. Worth it! Lovely break - arrived early and enjoyed our main meal meal at 2.30pm in the hotel which was excellent! Bar is very cosy with locals popping in. Great place to stay for a bit of luxury on this road.
15 people in one room, not ventilated well at all. The surroundings are super beautiful.
The hotel looked beautiful and dinner was good. The albergue was super crowded and some of the toilets and showers did not work. No toilet paper. I would not go back
Loved this albergue. Wifi did work in the dorms. Great area for relaxing outside. Very spacious. Only pity about the bathrooms.
