Pets are welcome! Run by Carlos and Marisa, themselves pilgrims and long time hospitaleros.
These distances are exact, but are based on a straight line from point to point. Actual walking distances will be slightly longer.
Great albergue - welcoming and warm. The owners address you by name which is a first! Kitchen is excellent and has washer and dryer facilities. Nice garden out back. Clean and well organised. Only criticism is that the rooms are a bit crowded.
Fantastic New clean albergue owned by a 10x pilgrim. Full amenities and breakfast. Thank You.
Albergue Gaia was a god-send today after 26 km in the cold and wet. It was clean colourful and very welcoming. Highly recommended, don't walk past it!
As the above comment states, cost was only 5€. One of my favorite Albergues on the way. Calming music playing on arrival, incense burning. Tried to do my laundry by hand, but after it began raining, the hospitalera took my wet clothes and ran them through a spin cycle on the washer for free. Very nice people. Very nice Albergue.
Peaceful and welcoming! You can't go wrong staying with Marisa and Carlos. Cost was actually only 5 euros. (Should be more.). Wonderful experience and spotless.
