The building is beautiful but I really don’t think this albergue is worth the extra cost. Yes you get sheets and a towel but the dorms are dark with almost no lights, the showers are awkward and didn’t drain so I had to try to dress while standing in a pool of water. And frankly the owner wasn’t very friendly, perhaps she was having a bad day but I certainly didn’t feel welcomed as I have in other albergues. The reason I chose this place was for the community dinner but I ultimately passed because brothy soup and fish were on the menu with no wine included. That’s unheard of in Spain and certainly at 10€ a person. Go across to the bar and have huge portions plus beverage of choice all for around 8€. All in all I was disappointed to spend my last night on the Camino here.

One of the most welcoming and homey albergues on the Camino. Coming out of the rain to a wood burning fire was Devine.

Dinner was the best fish in a month and large portions.

Well worth €13. Comes with real sheets warm blankets and a large bath towel.
