Wouldn’t recommend ,...
No privacy in the toilet ie no door and it’s in with the showers .... the showers are both together so again no privacy .... what the hell!

The place is very simple, humid, air ventillation is poor and everything is overfilled with synthetic strawberry incense. Better prefer tent

The place is simple but clean, and everything well organized. Friendly hosts (several languages handled). A generous meal was served. The views are beautiful, sunset astonishing.

We just have had a very good And tasty dinner. Many nationalities around the table. I have a very good feeling about this place. At the end we received a breakfast package so we can leave tomorrow whenever we wish.

Stopped here to shorten our next day..good thing it was. The skies opened up and it just really poured, the owner was very nice and we just hung out under the shelter until place opened. He told us about Italian restaurant up the road and we went there for lunch. It was good. The albergue filled up due to rain. However we were warm and dry. The place is clean. We had a simple dinner and the owner set out a packaged breakfast for us. There was also a tortilla bocadiilo. For our travels tomorrow. Very nice.

We decided to take some kms off the Markina - Gernika stage so didn't stay in Deba and pushed another 5km uphill to find this albergue. They don't cook dinner anymore but you can order sandwich/pizza from the front desk (mini bar). Bed and bathroom were clean, pleasant place to stay!
